ROCK ISLAND, ILL. – Capping off the 2025-26 season, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's golf team finished runner-up in a field of nine teams at Augustana's Vikings Invitational, hosted at Highland Springs Golf Course.
Over the two days of competition, the Pioneers had four golfers finish in the top 25 as the team totaled 667 strokes (330, 337). Host Augustana took the title with a combined total of 636 strokes.
Senior
Taylor Swalve capped off a strong career for the Pioneers by finishing second place overall and shooting 156 (77,79), just one stroke behind the overall champion. Also finishing in the top five was sophomore
Chloe Chappell with a total of 160 strokes (76, 84), good enough for fifth place.
Freshman Hanna Peterson finished tied for 21
st with a total of 174 strokes (87, 87) and junior
Danielle Bruecker tied for 25
th with rounds of 90 and 87 for a total of 177 strokes.
Rounding out the Pioneers five was senior
Hannah Tysse with a total of 182 strokes (91, 91), placing her 32 overall.
