Allison Peters of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville softball team collected College Sport Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team honors.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their performances both on the field and in the classroom. To be nominated, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and be in sophomore, junior, or senior standing.
Volkening, an elementary education major, appeared in 39 games for the Pioneers this season and batted a career-best .299 with 26 runs scored and 10 RBI. The senior paced the team in stolen bases with seven while posting a .398 on-base percentage.
Dietz, a health and human performance major, wrapped up a senior season that saw her named NFCA First Team All-American in addition to WIAC Position Player of the Year. The third baseman led the conference in several offensive categories and her .532 batting average on the season in a WIAC single season record.
Brownlee appeared in 23 games in the circle for the Pioneers as a health and human performance major. The senior posted a 4-4 record with 62 strikeouts across his 44.2 innings pitched.
Broshous played in 38 games this season and is a forensic investigation major. The junior batted .275 with three home runs and 20 RBI, which ranked fourth on the team. Broshous added 10 doubles, second-most on UW-Platteville.
Peters started 37 games and hit a career-best .406 en route to All-Region and All-WIAC honors. The biology major drove in 27 runs and connected on five home runs, both second-best marks on the Pioneers.
