Men's Highlights
Schneider won the javelin throw with a mark of 56.27m on his third throw in the event. The Pioneer also owned the second-best mark of the day, tossing 54.53m on his second throw of the day. Joining Schneider on the podium with a personal best was sophomore Cal Wrasman, whose throw of 51.41m placed fourth.
Senior
Caden Schneider finished fourth in the 3000m steeplechase with a season-best time of 9:02.13. Freshman
Owen Orioles placed fifth in the pole vault, reaching a PR mark of 5.00m.
Advancing to Saturday's finals in the men's 400m was freshman
Mason Augustynowicz with a PR of 49.00 and senior
James Ketterer at 49.12, also a personal-best.
Running a personal-best 1:52.81 in the 800m prelims, senior
Joshua Stone qualified for Saturday's final.
Sophomore
Kadyn Dixon also advanced to Saturday behind a PR in the 200m run with a time of 21.67 in the prelims. Dixon also qualified for the 100m finals on Saturday with a time of 10.65.
Women's Highlights
Junior
Laura Weaver finished on the podium in the hammer throw, placing sixth with a throw of 49.89m.
Junior
Evelyn Troxel finished eighth in the pole vault, clearing a height of 3.67m.
Peterson owned the fastest times in both the 100m and 200m prelims, breaking both school records and running a meet-record 23.51 in the 200m after running a 11.56 in the 100m.
