REEDSBURG, Wis. – Two Pioneers finished inside the top 20 as the University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's golf team competed at the three-day Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship (presented by Culver's) held at the Reedsburg Country Club. The Pioneers shot a 54-hole team score of 1017 after rounds of 339, 330, and 348.
UW-Platteville finished eighth of eight teams. UW-Stout took first as a team, shooting 935, and UW-Stout's Julia Imai took first individually for the second year, with a score of +14 (230).
Tying for 7
th, senior
Taylor Swalve was the highest finisher for UW-Platteville, shooting a three-day total of 240 (76, 83, 81). Swalve's first round also set a new career-low.
Sophomore
Hannah Peterson also finished inside the top 20, tying for 19
th after a score of 250 (86, 79, 85). Peterson's second round was also a career low. Junior
Danielle Bruecker finished third for the Pioneers and tied for 43
rd overall after shooting rounds of 82, 92, for a total of 261.
Sophomore
Chloe Chappell finished tied for 50
th and shot 266 (90, 86, 90). Senior
Hannah Tysse rounded out the scoring five and had a three-round total of 326 (103, 113, 110).
Competing as an individual and setting a new personal best was senior
Emma Slattery who finished 78
th with total of 314 (109, 98, 107).
Following the event, Swalve was named to the 2025 All-Sportsmanship team during the post event awards.
