Women's Basketball Releases 2026-27 Schedule

PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's basketball team revealed its 2026-27 schedule on Thursday afternoon, with the Pioneers traveling to Hope College on Friday, November 6 to tip-off the season.

Depending on the outcome of that contest, the Pioneers will face either Illinois Wesleyan or Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday in the second game of the Hope College Kick-Off Classic.

UW-Platteville hosts the annual Marc Heidorf Memorial Classic in late November, kicking off a stretch of four straight home contests. The opening game of the classic against Calvin on Friday, November 20, will serve as the home opener for the Pioneers, who will host Central College the following afternoon.

After home games against Wisconsin Lutheran and Loras, UW-Platteville concludes non-conference play on the road with matchups against Buena Vista and Edgewood before traveling for the UW-Oshkosh BSN Classic on December 28 and 29. There the Pioneers will face Ripon and Concordia College (Minn.).

The Pioneers challenging schedule continues as conference play begins on the road against UW-Oshkosh on Saturday, January 2. UW-Platteville then returns to Bo Ryan Court on Wednesday, January 6 to take on UW-Whitewater.

On January 16 the Pioneers hold a youth day against UW-River Falls, while Alumni Day is the following Saturday, January 23, against UW-Stout Polytechnic. UW-Platteville hosts UW-Oshkosh for Staff Appreciation Night on Wednesday, January 27, before hitting the road for games against UW-Whitewater and UW-River Falls.

Upon returning home, the Pioneers face UW-Stevens Point for Breast Cancer Awareness Night on February 10. The final two home games of the regular season will be against UW-Eau Claire and UW-La Crosse. The Pioneers will recognize the Senior Class following the game against the Eagles.

After the conclusion of the regular season, the WIAC Tournament begins on February 23 and runs through February 27.
