PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Senior Ella Mackiewicz of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's basketball team was named to the D3hoops.com All-Region 9 Second Team it was announced on Monday afternoon.

It's the second All-Region selection for Mackiewicz in her career after she garnered Third Team honors following the 2023-24 campaign.

Mackiewicz concludes a fantastic four-year Pioneers career that sees her finish fourth in program history in points scored (1458), third in steals (188), and fifth in games played (104). The two-time All-WIAC and two-time WIAC Honorable Mention honoree averaged 15.2 points per game in 2025-26 while shooting 44.0 percent from the floor and a career-best 30.8 percent from beyond the arc. The senior grabbed a team-high 6.1 rebounds per game and earned WIAC All-Defensive Team recognition after averaging 2.1 steals and 0.9 blocks per game, both top four marks in the conference.
