PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – For the seventh consecutive year, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville baseball team was recognized for its academic success by the American Baseball Coaches Association.

The ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes college and high school programs from across the country who finished the 2025-26 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Nearly 500 collegiate programs and more than 300 high school programs were recognized with this year's ABCA award. UW-Platteville was one of five WIAC schools to earn the honor, joining UW-Eau Claire, UW-River Falls, UW-Stout, and UW-Whitewater.
