LA CROSSE, Wis. – On the second day of the 2026 NCAA DIII Outdoor Championships,
Hailey Campbell of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville track and field team had a top 10 finish in the high jump while
Izzy Peterson advanced to the 100m finals on Saturday.
Competing in her second Outdoor Championships, and fourth overall national meet,
Hailey Campbell finished 9
th in the high jump after clearing 1.67m on the first attempt. The junior's first attempt at the next bar, 1.70m, looked really good but a light brush on the way down resulted in the failed attempt at a new outdoor PR for the Pioneer. Already a two-time All-American at the Indoor Championships, the 9
th place finish is a career-best at the Outdoor Championships for Campbell.
Senior
Izzy Peterson will advance to Saturday's finals in the 100m after finishing second in the prelims of the event. Winning the second heat of prelims with a time of 11.61 seconds, Peterson claimed one of nine spots in the finals of the event.
Tomorrow, the Pioneers will wrap up the championships with freshman
Owen Orioles competing in the Pole Vault at noon,
Caden Schneider running the 5000m at 4:25 p.m. and Peterson running the finals of the 100m at 2:30 p.m. and 200m at 3:40 p.m.
