For the second week in a row, Dixon ran a personal best in the 200 meters, moving up the all-time UW-Platteville list. Dixon finished in third place among the collegiate athletes in a time of 21.72.  That time shaved off .21 seconds off his previous personal best to move him to #5 on the UWP all-time list. Dixon is now ranked #7 in the WIAC in that event. Dixon was also a member of the 4x100 relay that finished 2nd at the Meet of Champions hosted by Augustana College.

Melissa Dietz -- 3B -- Senior -- Reedsburg, Wis. / Reedsburg Area

Dietz batted .615 and slugged 1.462 as the Pioneers picked up four wins over the weekend. The senior opened with two hits (both doubles), two RBI, and a run scored in the first game against UW-Eau Claire on Saturday before putting together an even strong performance in game two. Dietz reached base five times, including a solo home run in the second and a go-ahead grand slam in the fifth to put the Pioneers ahead for good. She then went 3-for-6 with two more doubles and an RBI across the two wins over Grinnell. In total, Dietz had nine RBI, six runs scored, five doubles, and eight hits on the week.
