PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville men's basketball team was recognized for the sixth consecutive year for its academic success by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).
The NABC Team Academic Excellence Award recognizes men's basketball programs that completed the 2024-25 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
UW-Platteville was one of four WIAC schools honored by the NABC along with UW-Eau Claire, UW-Oshkosh, and UW-River Falls. Nearly 400 programs from all divisions received an NABC Team Academic Excellence Award, while over 2,400 individuals were honored.
Four Pioneers earned a spot on the NABC Honors Court including Ben Probst (Business Finance), Kobe Smit (Agriculture Business), Logan Pearson (Business Management), and Max Love (Business).
