UW-Platteville remained undefeated in Wisconsin Intercollegiate
Athletic Conference play, beating host UW-Superior 1-0 on a cold,
wet Saturday.
Tyler Holle scored the game's lone goal in the 85th minute,
lifting the Pioneers to a 1-0-1 conference mark. UWP is now 6-4-1
overall and unbeaten in its last four outings. UW-Superior fell to
4-5-1, 0-2.
Kris Bosshart made one save in the goal and recorded career
shutout 19, tying the school record.
The Pioneers will look to complete the northern sweep Sunday by
playing at the WIAC's newest addition, Finlandia (Mich.). The
addition of Finlandia gave the WIAC five men's soccer schools and
the chance to compete for a league title for the first time.
