PLATTEVILLE, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's soccer team (5-3-3, WIAC 1-0-0) got back in the win column on Saturday as they scored twice against UW-Stout Polytechnic (4-5-3, WIAC 0-1-0), shutting out the Blue Devils 2-0 from Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.
The Pioneers got on the board in the 16
th minute of the game with a successful penalty kick by senior
Elise Kukuck.

Jess Morawski then broke through for her fourth goal of the season in the 60
th minute, assisted by
Mira Petri – the sophomore's third assist in four games.
UW-Platteville outshot the Blue Devils 9-3, placing five on frame compared to two by UW-Stout. Senior
Marguerite Mueller kept a clean bill with two saves in the contest.
The Pioneers will return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 7 when they travel to UW-Whitewater for their second WIAC contest of the season, scheduled for 7 p.m.
