UW-Platteville Ranked 59th In Final Learfield Directors' Cup Standings

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville ranked 59th in the final standings of the 2024-25 Learfield Directors' Cup following the conclusion of the spring sports season.

After the very successful fall campaign led to 178 points, the Pioneers added 93 points from winter sports and another 60 from spring sports, bringing the yearly total to 331.00 points.  
UW-La Crosse (10th) was the top WIAC school in the standings, followed by UW-Whitewater (14th), UW-Eau Claire (21st), and UW-Oshkosh (28th). Finishing behind the UW-Platteville were UW-Stout (73rd), UW-Stevens Point (94th), and UW-River Falls (101st).

Emory topped the standings with 1198.75 points, while Johns Hopkins (1147.00 points) and Tufts (1069.00) rounded out the top three.

The standings recognize the best NCAA DIII overall athletics programs with points awarded based on each institution's finish in the NCAA Championships. Learfield Directors' Cup was developed in a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today.
