PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – In the final non-conference match of the season, the University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's soccer team (8-5-4) fell 2-0 to Carleton (13-2-2) on Wednesday night inside Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.
The Knights scored once in each half, starting with a 15th minute score to take the early advantage. The visitors added to the lead in the 57th minute and held UW-Platteville scoreless for the remainder of the contest.
The Pioneers finished just behind Carleton in shots on goal 6-5, with the Knights holding a 16-9 edge in total shots throughout the evening.Freshman
