PLATTEVILLE, Wis. -- The University of Wisconsin-Platteville men's soccer team routed Finlandia 6-0 on Sunday at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.

Brad Streich scored the game's first goal in the 7th-minute, assisted by Mbodje Sarr

Streich then delivered a great 20-yard through ball to Sarr, and Sarr took care of the rest, scoring his fifth goal of the season in the 21st-minute, to put the Pioneers up 2-0.

In the 36th-minute, freshman Josh Muñoz delivered a beautiful corner to the far post and was headed in by William Pretto, giving the Pioneers a 3-0 lead.

Pretto found himself at the end of another corner kick in the 62nd-minute, this time he heal kicked the ball in, assisted by Stephen Hall.

Muñoz scored his first career collegiate goal in the 81st-minute and then found Keith Baerwald open in the center of the box in the 87th-minute. Baerwald headed in Muñoz's cross, capping off the 6-0 Pioneer victory.

The Pioneers didn't allow a shot and totaled 38 shots and 20 corner kick opportunities.

UW-Platteville will have a much tougher test on Wednesday when the Pioneers welcome 14th-ranked Wheaton (Ill.) at 7 p.m.
