OSHKSOH, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision at UW-Oshkosh in the semifinals of the WIAC Championship on Wednesday night.
The Titans didn't waste any time getting on the board first, scoring in the sixth-minute.
The Pioneers went on to out shoot UWO 7-2 in the opening half, but only put one shot on goal.
The Titans went back on the offensive right out of halftime, netting an insurance goal less than a minute and a half out of the break.
The Pioneers managed to record three shots in the final 40 minutes but couldn't find the back of the net.
UW-Platteville ended its season 6-11-3 with one of the highlights of the year being a 1-0 victory over No. 8 Loras.
