Clarke University scored just 3:22 into the game, and the host Crusaders beat UW-Platteville 2-0 in the men's soccer opener Wednesday.

Dino Ramic scored the quick goal, coming in unassisted. Jared Hill scored in the 22nd minute, heading in the ball off a corner kick.

The Crusaders held a 15-9 edge in shots, including 7-4 in shots on goal.

Coach Enzo Fuschino brings the Pioneers to Milwaukee this weekend, playing Friday and Saturday in the Wisconsin Lutheran tournament. UWP opens Friday at 7:30 against the host Warriors.
