The Pioneers men's soccer team won 3-0 over the Coe
College Kohawks Sunday night at Pioneer Stadium.
UW-Platteville scored with less than 30 seconds into the first
half by B.J. Gottschlich from 10 yards out by a centering pass by
Brandon Chmiel. Early in the second half, Gottschlich put
the Pioneers up 2-0 after stealing a pass 15 yards out and scored
his second goal. The Pioneers would strike again three
minutes later by Dustin Wiskes header off of a corner kick from
Brandon Chmiel.
The Pioneers improved to 6-4-1 while the Kohawks fell to 5-3-1.
The Pioneers return to Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium Tuesday at
7 p.m. to take on Loras.
