What makes you love UW-Platteville Women's Basketball?
I lvoe the talent, competitiveness, and team chemistry! My teammates and coaches constantly push me to be the greatest player that I can be and every day with the team is so rewarding and fun -- I wouldn't want to play for anyone else!
What is your nickname? How did you get it and who gave it to you?
Maddy -- my every day nickname. Maddawg -- Someone just always ends up calling me this each basketball season and it sticks.
Who are the role models in your life and why?
My parents and grandparents. They have all taught me to never take life for granted and to cherish every moment and opportunity that I am given.
Who or what inspired you to play basketball and why?
I have always loved participating in team sports and basketball was by far my favorite. It has taught me to work hard, be competitive, and never give up.
If you were a superhero, what would your name be and what superpower would you have?
Captain Maddy Marvelous. My superpowers would be super human strength, flight and agility.
Pre-game rituals or game day superstitions:
I always put my socks and basketball shoes on from left foot to right foot.

What advice would you give to future pioneers?
Enjoy every moment in college because it would be over before you know it.
If you won a million dollars what would you buy?
Definitely an endless supply of Dunkin Donuts french vanilla iced coffee with cream and light sugar.
What is one of the things you would put on your bucket list?
To sky dive with my Grandpa.
What place would you like to visit most?
Greece.
What are your hobbies away from basketball?
I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, reading and crafting.

The University of Tennessee Volunteers and Fred VanVie.

Mamma Mia! or Bohemian Phapsody (Rami Malek's role as Freddie Mercury was amazing).
