University of Wisconsin-Platteville Pioneers

High School: Two-time first-team all-area and first-team all-conference honoree. Honorable mention all-state as a senior. Averaged 21 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals as a senior, tallying 1,176 total career points. Helped lead team to conference championship and was selected to the WBCA All-Star game. Named class valedictorian.

Personal: Daughter of Darrin and Amy Nelson ... intends to major in engineering.

If you were in a karaoke contest, which song would you choose to sing, and why?: Who let the dogs out? My siblings and I used to sing this song with my Aunt and Uncle when we were little. It’s also fun and upbeat.
