What is your nickname? How did you get it and who gave it to you?
My nickname is Smiles, given to me by Coach Hanner because I am always smiling
Who are the role models in your life and why?
My parents are my role models because they have taught me by example and have worked hard, persevered, and put three kids into college.
Who or what inspired you to play baseball and why?
My parents allowed me to choose the sports I wanted to play and baseball was one I enjoyed the most and stayed with.
Favorite baseball moment as a Pioneer or in high school if you are a freshman?
Showed up as a transfer and started playing and my favorite moment was when I felt my team take me in and support me.
If you were a superhero what would your name be and what superpower would you have?
My name would be Captain Dan and I would be able to fly.
Pre-game rituals or game day superstitions:
Markings on my bat have to face the same way every time.

What advice would you give to future Pioneers?
Get on a good page with your professors early into the semester.
If you won a million dollars what would you buy?
A house with plenty of land to build on.
What is one thing you would put on your bucket list?
Skydiving

Traveling and hiking

A cheetah, so I can finally be fast
