GREENVILLE, Ill. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's soccer team played Greenville University to a 0-0 draw Saturday afternoon on Francis Field.
The Pioneers (3-0-2) outshot the Panthers (0-2-3) overall, 9-4. The Pioneers had five chances in the first half and put four total shots on goal across the 90 minutes while Greenville was unable to put any on frame.
Junior Ariana Lombardi and freshman Sophie Carlos each totaled game high two shots with one on goal for each. Junior Lydia Smith also tallied two shots on Saturday.
The Pioneers return to action on Wednesday, September 20 when they host the Luther Norse at 7 p.m. in Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium.
