EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's soccer team dropped its second WIAC competition 1-0 at UW-Eau Claire.
The Blugolds improved to 8-4-0 overall and 1-1-0 in the WIAC while UW-Platteville slips to 1-10-2 overall and 0-1-1 in the league. Tessa Grywalsky recorded the game's lone goal at the 22:20 mark.
Junior goal keeper Mariah Kennedy recorded eight saves in 90 minutes. Overall UW-Eau Claire held the advantage on shots 16-0 with nine on goal and an advantage on corner kicks 2-0.
The Pioneers will return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 16 when UW-La Crosse visits Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium on homecoming week at 7 p.m.
