UW-La Crosse beat visiting UW-Platteville 75-55 Saturday afternoon in a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup in Mitchell Hall.
Kassie Hansen scored 13 points, and Blaire Lutes had 12, but it wasn't enough for the Pioneers, who fell to 5-10 overall and 1-3 in the WIAC.
Dani Craig led three UW-La Crosse players in double figures with 17 points. The Eagles led 31-24 at the half, then broke the game open in the third quarter, outscoring the Pioneers 20-12. UW-L made 13 of 27 three-point shots while improving to 10-5, 3-1.
The Pioneers' next action is at UW Oshkosh Wednesday at 7 p.m.
