DAVENPORT, Iowa -- The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's soccer team were shutout by 21st-ranked NAIA St. Ambrose, 4-0, on Wednesday.
The Fighting Bees out shot the Pioneers 19-7 and also had a 8-0 corner kick advantage.
SAU's Tori Novak scored the game's first goal in the 10th-minute, and then Sarah Treat added another one before the half, giving St. Ambrose a 2-0 lead.
Novak struck again in the 49th-minute to make it a 3-0 game. Jordan Eisenberg netted SAU's final goal at the 56:19 mark, 4-0.
The Pioneers will look to bounce back on Saturday when they travel to Principia.
