Pioneers' Sarah Eck Named WIAC Offensive Player of the Week

Sophomore Sarah Eck (Cambridge, WI/Lake Mills HS) of the UW-Platteville women's soccer team was named the WIAC Offensive Player of the Week for the week of August 29-September 4. Eck scored the game-winning goal in the 89th-minute against Coe College (Iowa) on Sept. 1 and added two more in the 5-2 win over Ripon College (Wis.) on Sept. 3. It was the third multi-goal game of the career for Eck.
