Vince Polizzi joins the Pioneers after a standout playing career at Loras College. Polizzi is the school record holder in single season RBI (63) and ranks second all time in both single season hits (70) and home runs (12). He is one of two players in the 70-hit club, and stands alone as the only 70-60-10 (70+ hits, 60+ RBIs, and 10+ Hrs) in a single season. Vince helped lead Loras to their first A-R-C Tournament Championship and registered a hit in the school's first ever NCAA tournament game. The 3-time A-R-C All-Conference selection was an ABCA/Rawlings 2nd Team All-Region player in 2026 and was selected as a 64 Analytics All-American in 2025.
After being a top performer in the Independence League for two seasons, Polizzi worked on the operations staff with the Oahe Zap to help improve game day and fan experience. Spending multiple summers as a travel baseball coach, Vince brings experience working with the Canes organization and most recently as the head coach with Elite Baseball Training 17U. Polizzi will work with position players and hitters and capitalize on his connection to many travel ball organizations to help recruiting efforts in the area.
