University of Wisconsin-Platteville Pioneers

Andy Busch is in his sixth season with the UW-Platteville softball team. He is also an assistant coach with the UW-Platteville women's basketball team. Busch is a 2002 graduate of UW-Platteville, majoring in accounting and helping run the summer women's basketball camps for many years.

He coached at his native Mineral Point High School for five years at the JV level, compiling a record of 88-12. He also assisted the varsity to five straight regional finals and one sectional final, losing to the eventual state champ in four of those seasons. He is known for his strategic mind and assists in game-planning.
