    RIVER FALLS, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team fell 31-24 on the road Saturday at UW-River Falls to conclude the 2019 season. The Pioneers finish 7-3 overall and 4-3 in the WIAC with the three losses coming at a combined deficit of 18 points.

    PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – Two members of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team have been named to the 2019 NCAA Division III Academic All-District® Football team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Drew Rakers and Hank Westemeyer were among six selected out of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

Davis Pioneer Stadium.  Both teams are now 6-2 overall with the Titans improving to 4-1 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference and the Pioneers falling to 3-2 in the league.

Saturday’s Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory brings UW-Platteville’s all-time Homecoming record to 47-39-4.

    WHITEWATER, Wis. – The No. 19 ranked University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team fell 21-14 to the No. 3 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Saturday afternoon at Perkins Stadium in the 2019 edition of the George Chryst Memorial Bowl. The two nationally ranked teams entered the fourth quarter tied at 14 apiece, but the Warhawks’ 10-yard run and touchdown in the 11th minute proved to be the game winning touchdown.

    PLATTEVILLE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville football team defeated the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse 38-20 Saturday after a two- and half-hour lightning delay in Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium. The Pioneers scored 24 unanswered points in the second half to secure the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) opener.
