MENOMONIE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's golf team concluded its 2024-25 season on Sunday at the UW-Stout Spring Invite, hosted at Tanglewood Greens.
As a team, the Pioneers finished 10th of 11 competing Wisconsin-based teams. UW-Stout took first place as a team with 316 strokes while the Pioneers finished with 358 strokes after 18 holes.
Leading the way for the Pioneers were juniors Taylor Swalve and Madison Berg who tied for 26th place, totaling 86 strokes.
Sophomore Gabriella Ziegler took 43rd placed shooting a round of 91. Junior Hannah Tysse finished 55th on a round of 95 strokes and junior Emma Slattery rounded out the five Pioneers golfers with an even 100 strokes, good for 59th place.
