Noon Competes In Shot Put At NCAA Championships

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Sophomore Brenna Noon of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville women's track and field team competed in the shot put on day two of the 2023 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field National Championships on Friday afternoon.

Noon improved upon each of her three throws, culminating in a mark of 13.23m (43' 5") to place her 17th overall in the field of 22. Noon concludes the season with her second straight trip to the national championships and she posted a season-best throw in the shot put of 14.07m (46' 2") April 14 at the UW-Platteville Invitational.

The final day of the meet will see senior Justin Eichler (hammer) and junior Daniel Inyang (high jump) compete for the Pioneers. Inyang will jump early tomorrow at 9 a.m. while Eichler throws at noon at the Polisseni Track & Field Complex at St. John Fisher University.
