DES MOINES, Iowa – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville track and field teams sent a pair of relay teams to the Drake Relays on Friday inside the Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa.
The women's 4x400 relay team of sophomore Margaret Rusch, sophomore Brynlee Nelson, senior Ashleigh Adamson, and senior Kaitlyn Galgon finished 13th out of 21 competing teams with a time of 4:01.02. The time was the Pioneers best during outdoor season this spring.
The men's sprint medley relay team of sophomores Derrick Turner, Dylan Miller, Spencer Vanek, and Zach Zenner finished eighth of 17 teams behind a time of 3:28.75.
The final day of the Drake Relays continues tomorrow with events beginning early in the morning.
