TUCSON, Arizona—The University of Wisconsin-Platteville softball team continued its season with two losses at Lincoln Park in Tucson, Arizona against Suffolk University and Dickinson University Sunday. The Rams won the opener 8-6 and the Red Devils won the nightcap 4-3.
The Rams scored three runs in the third inning, one run in the fourth and sixth, and three runs in the seventh inning.
Game two against the Red Devils was a one-run defeat. The Pioneers put up three runs in the first inning by
Emily Woodford,
LaRissa O'Kimosh and
Jessy Tanel. The Red Devils scored once in the sixth, twice and stole home in the seventh inning.
Coach Andie Varsho takes her Pioneers on the field again on Tuesday, March 14 in Tucson, Arizona continuing in the Tucson Invitational.
