PLATTEVILLE, Wis. — The University of Wisconsin-Platteville wrestling team fell to the No. 3 ranked UW-La Crosse Eagles 29-15 on Saturday in La Crosse, Wis.
In the 149 weight-class, Bohm dominated his opponent, pinning him at the 2:17 mark in the first round of the match.
Wedepohl's win came with a little more work, controlling the 184 weight-class match throughout three rounds, winning in a 5-2 decision over his opposing Eagle.
In the heavyweight match, freshman
D'Andre Johnson defeated his opponent in the second round, pinning him with about 48 seconds remaining in the round. Johnson has scored 166 match points for the Pioneers this season, leading the team with the most wins with 20.
