LA CROSSE, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville wrestling team was over powered by 19th-ranked UW-La Crosse, 47-3, on Wednesday in Mitchell Hall. 

The Pioneers took a 3-0 lead after sophomore Cole Ferguson won by decision, 6-2, over the Eagles' Ryan Weinmann at 125-pounds. UW-L then won the final nine matches for a 47-3 decision. 

UW-Platteville hosts UW-Stevens Point at 6 p.m. on Friday for the Pioneers final meet of the 2013 calendar year.
