WHITEWATER, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-Platteville wrestling team fell to ninth-ranked UW-Whitewater, 43-3, on Thursday in Whitewater. 

The Pioneers sole victory came from freshman Chase Wiggins, who beat Maxx Hubbard in an 8-6 decision. Sophomore Cole Ferguson fell in a nail-biter to Zac Denny in a 6-5 decision. 

UW-Platteville won't return to the mat until Thursday Dec. 5 when they host UW-Eau Claire for the Pioneers home opener.
