UW-Platteville made both a good host and a good showing at the UW-Platteville Fall Invite Saturday and Sunday at the House on the Rock Resort in Spring Green.

The Pioneers tied Augustana for second place in the five-school tournament. UW-Stevens Point won by shooting a 686, followed by the Pioneers and Vikings at 743, UW-Oshkosh with 759, Clarke 825, Augustana JV 825, and UW-Platteville JV 870.

Tricia Pawelski turned in UWP's top performance, finishing fifth on the challenging Springs Course with a 175 over two days. Kerrie Liske was sixth at 180, and Kelsey Lieving and Ellyn Subak tied for 17th with 194. UWSP's Mary Welsch was medalist with a 164.

Helen Wilson led the JV team with 206, while Stacy Heiling, Kelly Meier, Kristie Waynick, Brittany Rogness, and Kimberly Singer all saw their first collegiate action.
