UW-Platteville shaved 13 shots off its first-day score and moved
up two places to finish ninth in the 19-team Illinois Wesleyan
Spring Fling Sunday.
The Pioneers recorded a 335 on Sunday, with three of the five
golfers bettering their Saturday scores. Tricia Pawelski fired the
team's low round with a 79 Sunday and tied with Kellsey Welter for
weekend team honors and 19th place overall with 163. Welter
followed up her 80 Saturday with a solid 83 Sunday.
Kelsey Lieving dropped from 91 to 87; Kerrie Liske went from 94
to 86; and Ellyn Subak put together two rounds of 93 for Coach
Peter Reif's squad.
DePauw University won the team title.
