The University of
Wisconsin-Platteville placed third among six conference teams at
UW-Stevens Point in the last rounds before the upcoming Wisconsin
Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships.
The Pioneers finished with a
two-day total of 708 at the UW-Stevens Point Mad Dawg Invite, held
at the Stevens Point Country Club. UW-Whitewater won with 659,
followed by the host Pointers at 676, the Pioneers at 708, UW-Stout
716, UW-River Falls 741, and UW-Oshkosh 743.
With a Sunday round of 80, Tricia
Pawelski surged to fifth, finishing with a 165. Ellyn Subak was
14th with 176, Kellsey Welter tied for 16th at 180, and Kerrie
Liske 24th with 190.
